Posted by Fabio on March 10, 2011 at 1:39 PM

Convocation dates—Note that there have been changes to two of the SpringConvocation dates currently posted in Grapevine: The South Dade Deaneryconvocation will be May 21, not Mar. 29—time and location TBA; and theBroward convocation will be May 3, not May 6, at 6 p.m. at St. Ambrose.

Online Journal—As promised, the Journal of the 41st AnnualConvention of the Diocese of Southeast Florida (the 2010 Journal) is now postedonline. We would appreciate your constructivefeedback on this new (and green—fewer dead trees!) way of making thisinformation available; contact Jim Carlton, [email protected],with suggestions or questions.

Baseball game on hold—Thanks to everyone who responded to the plan for an“Episcopal Night” at a Florida Marlins game on May 30. Unfortunately, theinformation we received was incorrect—May 30 is not a date when the discountedgroup tickets are available. We’ll give you a new date as soon as possible, butmeanwhile, please take the May 30 date off your calendar.

Bishop’s Spring Conference—If you’re planning to attend the Bishop’s SpringConference this Friday and Saturday at the Duncan Center, you need to register NOW! Don’t miss your opportunity toparticipate in two days of learning, music and fun!

Diocesan photo galleries on Facebook—Remember that we now have photogalleries on Facebook from many diocesan events. These are public galleries, soyou don’t need a Facebook account to view them; just go to" target="_blank"> latest gallery is from last Friday’s Diocesan Academic Festival.

Correction—In an article on p. 12 of the February issue of The NetCongresswoman Frederica Wilson is described as “not an Episcopalian.” She is,in fact, a lifelong member of Historic St. Agnes, Miami. Apologies to thecongresswoman and to Canon Barry and the congregation of St. Agnes!
